ROCK FALLS
A Post Office was established February 12, 1894 with Burke C Payne as postmaster, discontinued June 25, 1898 with mail to Braman. Located northwest of Braman.

Schools once located in the township were Alpha-1, Battle Ax-23, Brown Union-3, Independence-22*, Labelle-20, Pleasant Hill-2, Pleasant view-21* and Triumph-19.
