Thank you so much for finding these obits for me. There are some new clues, or maybe I should say things that I have forgotten over the years, but the instant I read the info remembered it then.

Now, I need a mailing address and your full name to get some money to you. You certainly earned it. I am not surprised that Ray Pitts did not have an obit, 1937 was still early days on reporting deaths on a regular basis. But there is info about him in Leos obit that will help. Also the daughter. In your magic cemetery book for IOOF, do you have a burial for Patsy Lou Lopez , b. 1926-27 & died in the 1980's, early 90's. I wasn't in Ponca for so many years and I just got bits and peices from my Mother about people we knew. I was told she was put in a paupers grave as the only child she had would not come and make arrangements for burial. The next trip you make to the Library, not a special one just for this, would you check for her an obit? There can't be that many Lopez's in Ponca back then. Patsy was living at 417 North Ash, there in Ponca. If you find something, just let me know and I will send money to you.

I finall used some of the clues on the Pitts girl Patsy Lou and found her in SSDI. The information there says: Patsy Lou
Lopez, b. 8-9-1926, d. Oct. 1993, 67 yrs. old. This will give you a definite death date when looking for the obituary.
She is in IOOF Cemetery according to my Mother and a cousin.

I am looking for information about my grandparents.

My Grandmother is Bertha Ivaree Lewis-Crotser born between 1902 and 1905. Deceased at the age of 33.

My Grandfather is Pearl Roller Crotser, no idea when he was born, he is deceased since the 1970's. His parents or Grandparents changed the spelling of his last name from Krotzer to Crotser. When they came over from Germany.

Could you please help me?
I don't find either of them listed here in Kay Co.

Are you sure they were in this county?? If so, which town were they in.

I don't have much information to go on. If you know any more, let me know, otherwise I'll not be much help.

I am hoping you can help me with some information. I will be in Ponca City in October and plan to go to Odd Fellows Cemetery to pay respects to some family buried there. Can you tell me if there is a map or something that shows
where people are buried? It's my understanding there is no office at the cemetery at which I could ask. Is there a listing, a book, an index that shows the location? I am hoping not to have to wander the entire cemetery. Thank you so much for your help.  Marsha

I found the exact death date of Lee Curfman, 9-26-1970 of which I needed the day, in order to find the obit.
He is buried in Mount Olive Cemetery in Nardin, Okla. which is a spot in the road, so to speak, :) west of Blackwell.
The price for getting an obit is 2.00 + printing of each one. So let me know if you wish me to continue with this.

Yes to both questions.   You can tell Lee's daughter I have a whole lot on Lee's grandmother side of the family.   His grandmother was Mary Fearer Elam.... I have information on the Fearer family.   Also I would love to know if she knows when Mary Fearer Elam died.    Sometime after 1930 but know nothing else.     Do you bill me or do I send money prior to receiving information
Am attaching the obits. The main one was so long had to cut into. In case you need the paper & date it was from--Blackwell Journal Tribune  Sunday Sept 27, 1970. Pictures never come out very good being a copy of a copy. The 2nd obit was from same paper, Mon. Sept 28, 1970.

I am trying to locate a copy of an obituary, Ida G. Anderson Coleman, born about 1877 in Crawford Co. Mo.
I found a small line of this obit in the Blackwell Journal, giving just her name and death year of 1960-61.
I am not sure what year she moved to Oklahoma, for this is my first information I have found on her.
I am her grand niece and i hope you can help me.

I am searching for a Manuel (Man or Mann) W. Clingerman who moved to Tonkawa,Ok with his family from Kiowa Ks in the late 1920's . He bought land in the area. His wife Maggie and two of the youngest children left and went to Ardmore, Ok. She probably divorced him and may have married a James McCloud. Manuel was reported to have died in his 40's. He was born in Ohio in 1879. An obituary would be mst helpful as I believe he is buried in Riverview cemetery in Kiowa although there is no record of this there is someone buried next to his brother who had no other family.

I find No Clingerman's at all in the Kay Co. Cemetery Inscriptions book.

Nothing at all that he died in the Tonkawa area. To obtain an obit you would need his exact death date plus where he died for it to be found on Microfilm at the library.
