Louise Ziegenhain Sue Louise Ziegenhain,
resident of Ponca City, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008, at the Ponca
City Medical Center. She was 75. Sue was born on June 25, 1932 to the late Jack Harry Martin and the late Ida Sue Nolen in Drumright, OK. She was raised in Drumright, OK where she attended and graduated from high school in 1949. After high school Sue attended Oklahoma State University. She was married to William C. Ziegenhain on February 3, 1951 in Drumright, OK. Sue worked in various stores in Retail Sales for many years. She was the past Chair of the Marland Estate Commission, and was a member of the Marland Estate Foundation. She was very active and supportive of all functions of the Marland Estate and Grand Home, having taught many of the tour guides. Sue was active in the DAR and received the AAUW Women’s Day award in March of 2003. In January of 2007 she received the Chamber of Commerce Award and she also served as president in other various women’s groups. She was a member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband William C.(Bill) Ziegenhain of the home, one son Charles M Ziegenhain and his wife Patti of Ponca City, one daughter Mary Kay Potts and her husband Brian of Broken Arrow, OK, four grandchildren: Amy Elizabeth (Ziegenhain) Waggoner, Ann Myre Ziegenhain, Alicia M. Potts, and Brent David Potts; one brother Jack H. Martin and his wife Jolene of Ardmore, OK and two nieces: Lori Martin and Lindsey Martin both Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Jacquelene Rowell.
