Obituary Died, at her home
in West Owens, November 10th, Mrs. H. D. Wycoff, after a prolonged illness.
Blanche Littler was born October 24, 1872, in Montgomery county, Kans;
was married to H. D. Wycoff, February 10, 1891. To this union one son
and three daughters were born, the youngest now but a year old. It is
distressing, indeed, that a mother should be taken from her family while
still in the prime of life, and we are at a loss to see the justice of
it all. However, when we shall have crossed the Dark River we may be able
to understand the mysteries of this life, and be gladdened by a reunion,
made clear by the separation here. Sunday afternoon the remains were aid
to rest in the beautiful River View cemetery, near the home she loved
so well. The large number of friends that attended the funeral testified
eloquently to the high esteem in which she was held and was also evidence
of the sympathy felt for the bereaved husband and children. |
