PEGGY CLACK WILLIAMS

Peggy Clack Williams, resident of Ponca City, died Monday, March 28, 2005, at her residence. She was 75.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 31, at the First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Michael Seabaugh, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home. Viewing is available Wednesday.
Peggy was born Dec. 9, 1929, in Hobart, to W.A. and Willie Crow Clack. She was married on May 29, 1948, to Franklin H. Williams in Phillips, Texas. Peggy and her husband moved to Ponca City in 1956. In 1967 they moved away and then returned to retire in 1981.
She was an active member of the First Baptist Church and the Mary Martha Sunday school class. Peggy enjoyed researching her family genealogy. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and an active member of the Pioneer Genealogical Society. She participated in the indexing of Kay County cemeteries, deeds and records.
She is survived by her husband, Frank of Ponca City; three sons, Steven Williams and his wife Sheri of Tulsa, Randall Williams and his wife Donna of New Albany, Ind., and Kelly Williams and his wife Sandy of Redding, Calif.; four grandchildren, Arrin Williams of Chicago, Ill., Drew Williams of Lake Forest, Calif., and Chad and Katherine Williams of Redding, Calif.; and one sister-in-law, Carla McWilliams of Olathe, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Casket bearers will be Keith Hunter, Coolidge Campbell, Gene Cockriel, John Young, H.T. Duff and James McDonald.
Honorary casket bearers are Mary Martha Sunday school class of First Baptist Church in Ponca City.
