James Willhelm died at the home of Mr. Creel, on Monday, December15th, age 42 years. Mr. Willhelm was born in Harding county, Kentucky, coming here at the opening of the territory and completing the race. He was successful at getting 169 acres of land and has been a resident of our country till the time of his death. He leaves behind an estate valued at about $25,000 which will go to his brothers, his only direct relatives living. His father, Mother, three brothers and two sisters have all gone before him. The body was turned over to the Woodland Lodge Tuesday evening. the funeral services will be held Thursday from Prarieview church, starting at 12:30. Rev. Barrielow, of the United Brethern church, (Owens circuit) will deliver the funeral sermon. We wish to express our heartfelt sympathy to the two brothers and friends in their bereavement.
