Obituary Aaron Widick was
born in Macon county, Illinois, May 19, 1847. He died at his home in Blackwell
March 24, 1915, age 67 years, 10 months and 5 days. He spent his boyhood
days near Decatur, Ill., where he was married to Emily Robinson August
26, 1869. To this union were born six children, all of whom are living
except one son, Howard, who died September 23, 1907. He came to Kansas
in 1872 where he located in Greenwood county, near Eureka, and in 1876
he moved to Belle Plains, Kansas, where he resided until 1902, when he
came to Blackwell. He lived here until the time of his death. He leaves
the widow, Mrs. Emily Widick, and four daughters, Mrs. Sophia Simpson,
Mrs. Margaret Seaboch, Mrs. Maude Fox and Mrs. Luella Lane, and one son,
Harry Widick, and one brother, A. J. Widick, to mourn his death. |
