Death


Mr. Dell Whitmarsh dies at his home two miles north of this city, Wednesday of this week and will be buried from the Methodist church in this city Friday afternoon. Mr. Whitmarsh has been ailing for some time, and although he had the counsel of many physicians and the painstaking care of loved ones, the summons came. Mr. Whitmarsh was one of our best farmers, and has many friends who will sympathize with the family in their sore affliction.


WHITMARSH-Died, April 22, 1908, at his home about two miles north of town. Dell Whitmarsh, aged about 48 years. He had been ill of stomach trouble for about four weeks, with a complications of bowel trouble and other diseases,. He was one of the early settlers of the county and was much esteemed by a wide circle of acquaintances, who will extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.
He leaves a wife and six children, four boys and two girls, all nearly grown to mourn. The funeral will be held on Friday at the M.E. church in the city, conducted by Rev. E.B. Cole
