OBITUARY

Mrs. Katie C. Warren died at the family home in Vernon township last Thursday, September 7th, after an illness of five weeks. The deceased was the wife of P. B. Warren, and a daughter of Charles Mayer, one of Blackwell township’s well known citizens. Mrs. Warren had a host of friends and acquaintances, acquired before and since her marriage and they one and all will join with the bereaved husband and parents in mourning their loved one. As daughter and wife, she was an ideal in her love and affection, and the husband who has enjoyed her sweet companionship for a little more than two years, is indeed heartbroken and bereft. The funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in this city last Friday, conducted by Rev. Craighead and was attended by many sorrowing friends of the families. The Times-Record appreciates the fact that sympathetic words are but a poor solace to the bereaved ones, but we join with the many friends in sincere sympathy.
