Mrs. Barbara Ann Wallace Succumbs at Home Mrs. Barbara Ann Wallace, 80, died at her home in the 1200 block on East College avenue at 5:30 o’clock Friday afternoon. She had been suffering several weeks from a cancer of the throat. She was born in Putnam county, Mo. June 7, 1854 and was the wife of George Wallace. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Cora Smith, Eagle Rock, Mo; Mrs. Belle Underwood, Monett, Mo; three sons, W. D. Barrows, Micawber, Okla; Elmer Barrows, Rochester, Wash; and Henry Barrows, Blackwell; three step-children, Mrs. Mabel Reed, Medford; Perry Wallace [Harry], Micawber and Mrs. Helen May Barrows, Blackwell and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The body is at the Fyffe funeral home. No funeral arrangements had been made Friday night. All the children and step-children are here. |
