SMITH-Mrs.Mollie Smith, wife of Chas.Smith, died at her home in east Blackwell, Aug.24, after a short illness from a complication of diseases. She had recently moved from Kansas. Her husband is a contractor and was in the state of Washington at the time of her death, but is coming home. She leaves six children to mourn her loss besides her father and three brothers and five sisters. She was a member of the M.E. church. the funeral services were conducted at the residence at 3 p.m. by Elder Isom Roberts. The body was laid to rest in I.O.O.F cemetery
