SKEEN-Died, at the Clara Barton Hospital, San Francisco, Milford Gerald Skeen, son of T.D. and Rhoda Skeen of Angiola, California, formerly of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Tuesday, April 21, 1908, and was buried at Tulare, Calif., on Saturday, April 25 at 2 p.m.. He was operated on first on April 4, his trouble found to be adhesion of the bowels, they being grown together and to the walls of the abdomen. He was recovering satisfactorily, then suddenly began a decline. It was found necessary to perform a second operation., which was done on Saturday, April 18, He grew worse until the Tuesday following when he passed away at 15 minutes past 4 o’clock in the afternoon. The deceased was well known around Blackwell and no doubt many friends will be sorry to hear of his death. The young man was 21 years of age last October.
