SHAVER

SHAVER – Died, June 19, 1908 at 9:30 p.m. at the home of her son John, in Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Mary Shaver, at the advanced age of 94 years. She formerly made her home with her son, former mayor James Shaver, in Blackwell, and went to Tulsa some months ago. Dissolution came naturally as the result of old age. She was a grand old woman and numbered many friends wherever known. She was a member of the Presbyterian church for 81 years. Her husband died 31 years ago, and her remains were entered in the cemetery at Cedarvale, Kas., beside those of her husband. Beside the sons above mentioned, she is survived by two other sons, Barr Shaver at Menlo, Iowa, and Thos. Shaver at Louisville, KY.
