Sawyer-Died, at 7:30 Sunday evening, April 12, 1908, at the residence in the northwest part of the city, N.D. Sawyer. Aged about 87 years, of old age. He had been ill for about four months and his death was not unexpected. Besides his aged wife, he leaves a son, William in Missouri, a son Frank in Colorado, and four daughters ; Mrs. Ada Williams in Colorado, and Miss Bertha Sawyer of Blackwell. Funeral Tuesday at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Sherman Moore of the Baptist church, under the auspices of the Masonic order, at the residence.. Deceases was the oldest resident of Blackwell and had lived here about five years. Having many friends who regret his departure.
