DIED

On November 14, 1900, Kenneth T. infant son of John W. and Ella Randall, aged 1 year and 19 days. This is the second death to occur in the family of the senior editor of this paper. He had been sick about six weeks, but not until a few days before his death, did his illness become serious. He was a bright little fellow, full of life and childish glee. His death casts a shadow across the hearthstone of a happy home, and takes from the family circle a little gem around which the thoughts of father, mother, brothers and sisters clustered. When he was with us, and we were about our daily work, our thoughts were of him, as last we saw him, and as we were want to see him on our return to the home. But, he is gone; gone, to form another jewel in Heaven, around which the members of our family may gather to form a circle never to be broken.
Funeral services were conducted at the family residence on the East side at 3 o’clock this afternoon, by Rev. Jas. R. E. Craighead, following which was the interment in the city cemetery.
