MAMIE RUTH HOLROYD RAMEY

Mamie Ruth Holroyd Ramey, resident of Tonkawa, died Thursday, March 17, 2005, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan. She was 90.
A funeral will be held Saturday, March 19, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Tonkawa with the Rev. Dr. Richard Thomasson officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery in Billings.
Mamie Ruth Holroyd Ramey was born July 2, 1914, in Billings, the daughter of Roy and Mollie Ellen Kirk Holroyd. She married Clair Edward "Bud" Ramey Jan. 8, 1938, in Enid. They lived in many states before they settled in Tonkawa in the mid 1950s. She enjoyed researching family history.
Survivors include a daughter, Mollie Smith of Prattville, Ala.; a son, John Clair Ramey of Tonkawa; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, a sister and a grandson.
Memorial donations may be made the Methodist Church in Billings.
