Obituary
On Friday evening,, December 25, 1896 Big Henry Pappan, of heart disease. Mr Pappan was a Kaw Indian of education, taking a lead in all prominent affairs of the Kaw Nation. His death was sudden, the attack coming on when with a few hundred yards of his house. He will be sadly missed by his large circle of friends.
