Hugh B. Owens Dead

Hon. Hugh B. Owen candidate for representative in this, the second distinct on the fusion ticket, died at his home in Ponca City last Saturday. It is generally conceded that this will throw the office of representative to Hon. Jas. Wilkin, tho’ the fusion committee has filled the vacancy by nominating Wm. L. Barnum of Ponca City.
