MRS. McKNIGHT DEAD

W. D. McKnight received word Tuesday of the death at Marquam, Oregon, of his wife. Mrs. McKnight went to Portland to attend the W. C. T. U. and Equal Suffrage meeting, as a delegate from Oklahoma, and then to Marquam for a visit with her parents. She was ill but a short time, and Mr. McKnight had received a long letter from her the same day the telegram came announcing her death. She was buried at the home of her parents, and Mr. McKnight did not go, being unable to reach there in time for the funeral. She was accompanied by her son Sam, who was with her at the time of her death. Mrs. McKnight was well known in local county and territorial W.C.T.U. and Equal suffrage circles, and was an indefatigable worker for the cause and will be greatly missed.
