McGrew Rite Wednesday

Mrs. Reuben [Martha Maree] McGrew, 63, longtime resident of Blackwell and Nardin died at 7:10a.m. Monday in Blackwell General Hospital where she had been a patient for the past six weeks.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Methodist church with Rev. Phil Wahl and Rev. Charles Thigpen of Ponca City officiating. The body will lie in state from 1p.m. until 2p.m. and the casket will not be opened after the service. Burial will be in the IOOF cemetery under direction of Roberts and Sons Funeral home.

Mrs. McGrew was born Feb. 22, 1900 in Coffeyville, Kans., and came to Oklahoma in 1915 residing in the Nardin community and Blackwell since that time. She was member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include her husband, Reuben, of 824 West College, One daughter, Mrs. Pauline Fauchier of Ponca City; one son, Rev Arthur McGrew of Del City and four grandchildren.
