A Fatal Hemorrhage

Ward Morris, a young man about 16 years of age died at the home of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. F. V. Rowland, in this city early Thursday morning. Ward has been troubled for sometime past with lung trouble and with his mother were here in hopes the climate would be beneficial. They were much encouraged over his improved condition and felt that he was gradually getting stronger. Wednesday afternoon Ward started with another boy for Tonkawa, but they had a breakdown and he finally walked home about 7 miles. He ate no supper and complained of being tired and sleepy and went to rest early, but insisted that the family go to the band entertainment as had been planned. Later in the evening he was attacked with a severe hemorrhage from which he never railed. It is a distressing ending of the mother's high hopes and she and the other members of the family have the sympathy of their many friends.
