A FATAL ACCIDENT

This noon a young man named Maxwell, who has been working for a farmer in Kay county, shot and instantly killed himself. He tried to remove a loaded shot gun from the buggy when the weapon was discharged and the load took effect in the young man’s abdomen causing instant death.
The accident occurred south of Chillocco and the body was taken to Newkirk where it will be prepared for burial and sent to the boys parents in Missouri. He was about 22 years of age. – Traveler
