Mrs. M.J. Matkins, aged 45 years, died Monday at her home in the second ward after an illness of inflammatory rheumatism. The deceased was a widow, and leaves a daughter and three sons, two of whom reside at Parkins, and the other in Kansas. The funeral was held Tuesday morning from the Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. Craighead, and interment was made in I.O.O.F. cemetery.
