The two outlaws killed in the Osage country last Saturday by deputy United States marshals, were taken to Guthrie and have been identified as Will and Sam Martin, two of the gang of outlaws that held up a party of 100 people near Bartlesville a few weeks ago. The other outlaw, Clarence Simmons, who was with them, escaped. Deputy Marshal Haines was wounded in the fight. A reward aggregating $12,000 had been offered for the capture of these men dead or alive.
