Charles Ernest Mallory. Charles Ernest Mallory,
son of Mr. And Mrs. C. R. Mallory, died at the home of his parents in
Tonkawa, on Wednesday morning Dec. 4th, 1900, aged 12 years, 1 month and
3 days. He had suffered for more than five weeks with the disease known
as appendicitis. Carl, as he was known by his playmates, was a bright,
manly little fellow, and his death cast a gloom over the entire town,
because nearly everyone knew and loved him. Rev. Kleinsteiber conducted
the funeral services at the M. E. church at 3 o’clock p.m., and
the entire school attended in a body, after which the interment took place
in Odd Fellow’s cemetery. |
