DEATH OF JOHN LOVE
John Love, formerly a resident of this city, did at his home near Newkirk Wednesday morning, April 17. Mr. Love was in his eightieth year and had been in poor health for several months. Deceased moved with his family to this city in 1884 and resided here until 1893 when he secured a claim near Newkirk, since which time he has resided there with his family. A wife and six children survive. They are J. Mack Love of this city; J.D. Love of Nashville, Okla.; Will U. Love of Joy, Ill.; Frank A. Love and Hays Love, Kay county; and Mrs. Ella Cavil of Kay county. The funeral was held this afternoon from the Presbyterian Church at Newkirk.- Arkansas City Journal
