W L Logan

Last Monday evening a switchman named W. L. Logan in the employ of the Santa Fe railroad at Arkansas City, was killed while on duty as one of a switching crew; he had just uncoupled two cars and was standing on the brake beams of a freight car and had just given the engineer the signal to stop when his hold on the car loosened and he fell under the moving wheels and was fearfully crushed. He lived only about half an hour after being hurt.
