Mrs.
Lentz Dead
Mrs. George Lentz, died at the family home in this city early last Friday
morning, after a lingering illness. The funeral services were held from
the Methodist church Sunday morning, conducted by Rev. E. B. Cole, and
the interment followed in the I. O. O. F. cemetery south of the city.
The husband, Mr. George Lentz, her daughter Mrs. A. L. Hess, her son E.
A. Lentz, and her brother John Doler, all of this city did everything
possible to alleviate her suffering, and make comfortable her last days,
and to them sympathy of the community is extended. She was a woman of
sterling worth, and she will be sadly missed by a large circle of friends,
and the loved ones, who best knew her good qualities.
LENTZ-Died, at 2:30
am on Friday, March 6, 1908, at her home in the west portion of the city,
Mrs. Geo Lentz, aged about 63 years, the immediate cause of her death
being chronic stomach trouble. She leaves her husband, her son, E. A.,
her daughter, Mrs. A. I. Hess, her brother, John Dolder, and at Sheridan,
ill., her son John and her sister, Mrs. Aaron Knight. Besides many friends
here and elsewhere to mourn. Funeral services on Sunday at 11 a.m. at
the M.E. church. Conducted by Rev. E.B. Cole, interment in the cemetery
south of town.
