Burial Here For James Elba Lee, Former Resident

The body of James Elba Lee, 63, former resident of this community who died at his home at Indio, Calif., Wednesday, Sept. 24 arrived here Thursday.
Funeral services will be held at the Roberts mortuary Friday, at 2 p.m. with Rev. E. W. Harrison, pastor of the Christian church, officiating.
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Mr. Lee left here for California two years ago after a residence of several years here and at Dilworth.
He was born at Douglas, Kans., Feb. 20, 1878, and was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Cartwright and Mrs. Carrie Tabb, both of Shawnee; one son, Orin Lee of Shawnee; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Roach of Newkirk and Mrs. Millie Pierce of Blackwell; and four brothers, S. H. Lee of Arkansas City; J. H. Lee, Oklahoma City; Paul T. Lee, Kansas City; and M. T. Pierre,
