MRS. LAMBERT DEAD

Mrs. Edith Lambert, wife of the yardmaster at the Rock Island yard, died at Wichita Friday evening. Mrs. Lambert went to Wichita about two weeks ago for the purpose of having an operation performed. She contracted typhoid fever, and medical skill was powerless to save her.
She was the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. H. D. Lacy, of Keowee township, and leaves a husband and three little girls.
The funeral was conducted from the Christian church Sunday at 2 o’clock, Rev. Morris preaching the sermon. The services at the cemetery were conducted by the Knights and Ladies of Security, an order that has been established here but a few weeks, this being their first death. – Enid Daily Eagle.
Mrs. Lambert, was a daughter-in-law, of Mr. And Mrs. T. A. Lambert of this city.
