Little Fred is Gone

On Saturday night the 4th, inst. Little Fred, the three and one-half year old son of William and Barbara Kort, Passed from earth to that world of unclouded light and glory which God holds in reversion for his heirs.
The little mariner made a quick voyage over life’s rough sea, and though tossed by many a wave he reached safely the harbor. Parents, you have that grand and glorious assurance that your little boy made a safe journey and that he has landed at heaven’s port.
No doubt but your hearts have ached and your tears been warm and bitter because of the separation from your child, yet you can but rejoice with him in knowing that heaven has gained a soul and your darling boy an everlasting crown of life.
Father and mother, will you meet Fred on the other shore where sorrow sickness, pain and death will never come?
