The funeral of William Klephkorn was held Sunday afternoon from the Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Dix, the German Lutheran minister. Burial was made in I.O.O.F. cemetery.

W.M. KLOFKORN DEAD.

Last Friday morning at five o’clock William Klofkorn died at his farm home one mile east of the city. About three years ago, he had a severe spell of sickness from which he never fully recovered, at times he had been able to do some manual labor, but frequently was confined to his bed, but the day before his death he was able to be about as usual. Mr. Klofkorn and family have lived here since this country has been opened to settlement; he was a good neighbor and well liked by all who knew him. Besides the home farm he owned 160 acres about three miles south east of town, which he had made as the result of thrift since he came here. He was born in Carlsbad, Germany, and was 54 years of age the day he was buried. A short funeral service was held at the home Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock and also at 3 p.m. in the Presbyterian Church in this city. Rev. H. Miller of the German Lutheran church conducted the services.
