CLAUDE KIRK DEAD

Claude Kirk died last Saturday night at the home of his mother, Mrs. S. A. Kirk, who lives on south First street, between Blackwell and Bridge avenues. The young man has been a consumptive for several years and will be remembered by many as driver for the Wells-Fargo for a while. He was a bright young man, active and energetic and tried to the last moment to win in the fight against the white plague. He was in his usual health Saturday and Saturday night and his death was so unexpected as to be a shock even to the family. The funeral was from the Methodist church Monday and was attended by a large number of friends of the family of the deceased.
