A GOOD MAN GONE.

G.W. Kinney, died at his home in this county last Saturday morning at 8 o’clock, after a lingering illness. Mr. Kinney, with his aged wife, had their home on the farm of their son A.M. Kinney, six miles northwest of this city, and was well and favorably known by a large circle of acquaintances. Mr. Kinney is survived by the widow and six children, three of whom were here at the time of his death. He was a good husband and father, and a number one citizen, and in the little more than 77 years of his life had done much to make the world better for having lived in it. The funeral was from the Christian church in this city, Sunday and the interment in Odd Fellows cemetery south of the city.
