Lewis D Kile

Wednesday morning undertaker Fyfie met the frisco train from Enid, with the hearse and conveyed the body of Lewis D. Kile, to the South side cemetery, where short services were conducted by Rev Isom Roberts of the Christian church. Mr. Kile formerly lived here and was brought here to be buried here five or six years ago. Mr. Kile was employed as a fireman on the frisco, and was killed at Enid the first week. He was down in the ash pit working on the engine, when some cars were backed in on him, killing him almost instantly. The body was accompanied here and to the cemetery by a delegation of Frisco enginemen from Enid.


KILE- The body of L.D. Kile was buried in the cemetery south of town, Rev. Isom Roberts officiating. Kile was a brakeman and died from injuries received on duty. His death occured at Enid and the body was brought here to be placed beside that of a sister. The family formerly lived here.
