KEMP-died, at his home in Denver, Colo., Dec. 21, 1908, J.C. Kemp, formerly of Blackwell. On Dec. 10, Mr.Kemp and his son Roy were driving, when the horses became frightened by the cars and ran away, throwing both out and badly spraining the elder Kemp’s hip and shoulders, from the results of which he died on Dec.21. The body was brought to Macksville, Kans., for burial by Mrs. Kemp and Roy. Mr. Kemp was conducting a meat market in Denver, but it is the intentions of the family to close up the business there and move to Lebanon, Kas. Mr. Kemp left a wife and eight children, and two brothers and a sister to mourn his death. The family made many friends while in Blackwell, who will deeply sympathize with them in their bereavment.
