Obituary

Mrs. Alzina Jerome passed away last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. D. Winfield
Mrs. Jerome came from Colorado Springs, Colo., where she had been living with a son, only five weeks ago and some ten days ago she had an attack of malaria fever from which she was thought to be recovering and no one seemed to think that her condition was in any way alarming, and the announcement of her death this morning was a shock to the public.
Mrs. Jerome was 50 years old and leaves two sons, one at Colorado Springs, Colo. And one at Liudson, Mich., and two daughters. Mrs. Winfield and Mrs. Gilmer, both of this place, besides a sister at Toledo, Ohio, with whom she has lived a great deal since the death of her husband.
She will be taken to Beaumont, Kansas tomorrow and laid to rest by the side of her husband and two of Mr. Winfield’s children.
The SUN joins the community in extending sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
