Wm. Holtschneider, a pumper at Humboldt, Kansas, was run over by a passenger train at Bliss last Sunday and died about midnight after suffering the amputation of his left leg at the hip. Holtschneider was drunk and attempted to cross the track in front of the moving train. He was about thirty years of age and unmarried. The body was sent to Humboldt for burial.
