Graveside Rites Here for Former Resident.
Earl Hiatt, 73, Russell, Kans., He grew up on a farm southwest of Braman,
died Friday at Russell of a sudden illness.
He had been making his home in and around Russell for 20 years.
Survivors are his wife of the home; a son, Leland, Little Rock, a brother,
Claude Hiatt, E Bridge, Blackwell; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Moutray, Calif.,
and Mrs. Ola Be of Massachusetts.
Services will be at the Russell Sunday at 2 p.m. There will be a graveside
rite at the I.O.O.F. cemetery here, with Porter funeral home assisting.
Is indefinite, but Porters will be able to furnish it Monday opening to
those who wish to telephone.
