Graveside Rites Here For Former Resident

Carl Hiatt, 73, Russell, Kans., grew up on a farm southwest of Braman, died Friday, in Russell, of a sudden illness.
He had been making his home in and around Russell for the last 20 years.
Survivors are his wife of the home; a son, Leland, Little Rock, Ark.; a brother, Claude Hiatt, E. Bridge, Blackwell; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Moutray, Calif., and Mrs. Ola (incomplete) of Massachusetts.
Services will be at Russell Sunday at 2 p.m. There will be a graveside rite at the I. O. O. F. cemetery here, with Porter funeral home assisting.
Time is indefinite, but Porter's will be able to furnish it Monday morning to those who wish to telephone.
