IN MEMORY

Died – Friday, June 30, 1899 at five o’clock p.m. The infant daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Cale Heinkly, aged 11 months and 15 days.
Sooner or later, sorrow enters every home and bears down, with its might, the hearts of those near and dear. Death, the great leveler of mankind, often times comes with stealth, when we are least expecting his presence, and wrenches the hearts of loved ones, who knoweth not of his approach, until his heavy hand is laid upon the head of some beloved inmate, and commands the spirit to appear before its Master, the giver of all life.
Never was the above fact more clearly shown than in her usual health, now her spirit has taken its flight to join the angels in that better land.
Funeral services were held at the house Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Logan of the Baptist church, and were attended by a large concourse of friends and acquaintances. The large attendance and the beautiful floral tributes, speak with eloquent tongues, of the love and esteem in which she was held by those who knew her best.
Her bereaved and broken hearted parents are terribly weighed down by the deep sorrow that has fallen upon them, and the universal sympathy that has been tendered them is a great balm to their afflicted hearts. They loved her well and she gave them love for love in the fullest measure. May her God and Savior sustain and bind up their hearts in this heavy trial.
Miss Hellen.
