Hatcher Passes at Enid; Rites Are Set
POND CREEK, Jan.
28 - Blaine Hatcher, 72, a resident of the Pond Creek and Kremlin communities
for more than 50 years died Sunday at an Enid hospital following a brief
illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Wilson chapel, Rev. J.C. Shirley
of Phillips university will officiate. Burial will be in Pond Creek cemetery
by Wilson funeral home.
Mr. Hatcher had recently resided a half mile north of Kremlin. He was
born at Gault, Mo., Nov. 24, 1884 and came to the Pond Creek area in 1903.
He is survived by his wife, Betty of the home; a brother Ed Hatcher of
Douney, Calif.; and three sisters, Mrs. Jim Peck of Kremlin, Mrs. Gladys
Brooks of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Bessie Murphy of Sacramento, Calif.
