Death
Takes Man Who Came to City In Days of Tents

O. Hart, 88, pioneer resident of Oklahoma, died at his home, 208 West
Florence, at 5:35 a.m. Wednesday following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Hart came to Blackwell when it was a tent city, was away a number
of years and returned here about 15 years ago.
He was a carpenter.
He was born May 5, 1857, at Striker, O., and came to Oklahoma from Kansas
in 1894.
Mr. Hart was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Hart; five sons. Donald, Harold and
Forrest of Burbank, Calif., Carl of Oklahoma City and Frank of Portland,
Ore., and 10 grandchildren.
Roberts funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
