DEATH OF MRS. HARRISON

Mrs. J. J. Harrison, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Geo. W. Gelbach, in this city, Wednesday morning at 2:20 o’clock. Mrs. Harrison, has been here since the first of March, and has been constantly under the care of a physician, but her ailment proved an incurable one, and the tired body at last gave up the unequal struggle and is now at rest. During her illness she has had the loving ministrations of a devoted husband, and two sisters who have been with her constantly. The father and brother were here for a short time during her illness and all that mortals could do, was done to relieve her suffering, and restore her to health. Mr. Harrison is a resident of Wichita, and is the traveling representative of the Pratt Stock Food Co., and gave up business and everything else, to devote his whole attention to the care of his loved wife. The body was taken to Perth, Kansas, today, where the funeral services will be held at noon in the Union church, the interment to be in Bethany cemetery.
Minnie J. MacBeth, was born in Carlisle, Pa., and with her parents came to Sumner county, Kans., in 1883, and was married to J. J. Harrison at Perth, Kans., in the fall of 1885. She was a favorite with the family and friends and leaves a sorrowing husband and young daughter, who with the members of the family, realize that their loss is an irreparable one. The many friends of the family in this and Sumner and Sedgwick counties, will attest the worth of the deceased, and most heartily sympathize with the afflicted ones in their great sorrow.
