Elizabeth D. Harris

The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth D. Harris was held at the home of Mr. Enoch on E. Blackwell Ave., Tuesday p.m., conducted by Rev. Jas. R. E. Craighead. The deceased was born in Monroe county, MO., Aug 14, 1829. For thirty five years previous to her coming here she had been a member of the Christian church at Madison, MO. She leaves a daughter and seven grandchildren, her husband and two other children being dead.


Mrs. Elizabeth D. Harris died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Enoch of East Blackwell avenue, on Monday, Sept. 11, 1899. She was born August 14, 1829, in Monroe Co., Ill. She was a member of the Christian church at Madison in the same state for about thirty-five years. Her husband and two children are dead. Her daughter and seven grandchildren are left to cherish her memory. The funeral services were conducted at the house by Rev. Jas. R. E. Craighead
