B. F. Gudgell Dead

J. A. Brower is in receipt of a letter from a friend at Arkansas City, stating the death of B. F. Gudgell, editor of the Search Light. Mr. Gudgell took sick about two months ago of diphtheria and died Saturday night, January, 1906. Age about 29 years.
Mr. Gudgell was formerly a resident of Tonkawa and was one of the firm that started the Enterprise at this place. He left Tonkawa about eighteen months ago going to Arkansas City where he bought an interest in the Search Light.
