Word was received here Tuesday of the death at Phoenix, Ariz., of William Gingerich, who went there recently for his health. Word was received Monday that he was very ill, so the relatives were in a measure, not prepared for the word that came Tuesday. He is another victim to the great white plague and has a host of friends and acquaintances _________. Two brothers, Elmer and __________, and a sister live in this vicinity. The body will be brought here for the burial and will arrive probably Sunday evening. His wife and her __________ were with him at the time of death.


The funeral of William Gingerich, who died in Arizona of consumption, was held from the Methodist church last Saturday afternoon. There was a large attendance of relatives and friends, and the interment was in the cemetery south of this city. Mr. Gingerich was one of our well known farmers, and had a host of friends who join with the family in mourning his untimely end.
