J H Gano died at his home in this city last Friday morning of paralysis. The body was taken to Wellington over the Santa Fe Monday morning for burial, accompanied by the widow, and son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs Cloud. Mr Gano was one of Blackwell’s most respected citizens and had a host of friends here who join with the Times Record in extending sympathy to the bereaved family. The Odd Fellows escorted the remains to the depot and paid their last respects to the memory of the deceased brother. The gentleman had been a sufferer for sometime, but last week another and more severe stroke of paralysis forshadowed the end and his death was not a surprise to relatives and immediate friends.
A Card of Thanks
Mrs Gano and family would sincerely thank the friends and neighbors who so kindly rendered them assistance in the hour of sickness and death which bereft them of husband and father.
