OBITUARY
{Tribute
in the memory of Little June, by her grandmother, Mrs. A. Foster, June
20, 1904, Blackwell, Okla.}
Our darling little June, born June 27th, 1896; died June 13th, 1904:
Only a rose bud, almost ready to bloom, but God through his wisdom and
mercy saw fit to pluck and transplant it into that beautiful city where
it is now blooming and all is peace, joy, love and happiness, where the
lights never go out and the dazzling beauty of the sun never falls, but
its radiance shines forth from the throne and illuminates the streets
that are fashioned after God’s own direction. Beloved little June,
so patient through the long months of suffering; also hopeful that she
would sometime get well. In the last hours of patient waiting, so anxious
to go home, in the vision some loved one whe saw and said, “Papa,
who is it I see?”
The
funeral of June Foster, the little girl who died Monday, took place from
the home of her grandmother, corner of Blackwell avenue and D. street,
Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Barrier conducted the service, after which the
remains were taken by her parents to Mount Air, Iowa, for burial.
