Obituary Daniel Eudaily was
born in Hamilton county, Indiana. February 14, 1845, and died in Blackwell,
Oklahoma, October 4, 1914. He moved with his wife to Kansas in 1887, and
six years later when the Cherokee strip was opened, made the race and
located on a claim three miles east of Blackwell. He lived on this place
with his family, until the fall of 1907, when he moved to Blackwell, where
he resided until his death. Mr. Eudaily was a veteran of the Civil war,
having been in service with the 47th Indiana regiment of the Union army.
At an early age he was converted and joined the Christian church. He remained
an active worker in that church all the rest of his life. The funeral,
conducted by Rev. Z. A. Harris, was held at 10 o’clock, Tuesday,
October 6, and the remains laid to rest in the I. O. O. F. cemetery, south
of Blackwell. |
